Life Application
God will hold us accountable to how we respond in not just ideal situations, but also difficult ones.
Paul was one of the greatest apostles who wrote a majority of the New Testament! However, he seemed to always be imprisoned for his faith. Regardless of his circumstances, he continued to find ways to not only be joyful, but stay on mission for Jesus Christ, even though in jail or house arrest.
As the Apostle Paul’s life proves, there’s still a way to be joyful and on mission for Jesus Christ even when going through hard and painful seasons. “We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).”
What are some ways we can still be joyful and on mission for Jesus even through less than ideal situations like grief, pain, illness, financial hardship and the like?
Dear Lord, please reveal to us creative ways to continue to live a life worthy of our calling and mission to multiply Christ followers everywhere. Amen.
